The Forum is always open to new groups. In order to do so please do the following:
Check if there is a similar group already on the forum
Identify a Group Champion, they will be responsible for organising monthly meet ups and managing the online channel
Once you have a Group Champion get in touch (james@byroncommunications) and we'll get in touch to get you set up.
Just a couple of things to consider for Group Champions:
Please only act as group champion if you can commit to managing the channel
The online forum is supposed to reflect the real life work groups so they should meet at regular intervals (preferably monthly)
You may get additional requests for help on your channel subject, others in your group will likely also be able to help with this
We ask to keep working groups to a maximum of 10 (including GC) if your group is full and your have membership requests, ask the group if you have volunteers to leave. We do not currently have a formal rotation policy, but it will likely be that the most senior member (after 1 year) would volunteer their space. We may also look at multiple groups/champions. This will be resolved shortly.
